For those of you who missed our February luncheon last Thursday, we missed you! Sherrie Hall Everett, the founder of Creative Stream Integrative Brand Strategies, community activist, and former Provo City councilwoman, spoke on the importance of video content for promoting your brand. Sherrie started out her business as a “Mom with a Mac” and an interest in advertising and design. Today, the “Mom with a Mac” is now a robust creative agency that specializes in video content production. Sherrie’s agency played a key part in Congresswoman Mia Love’s 2014 ad campaign for U.S. Congress. Make sure to also check out SheBizUtah to sign up for a free short video shoot for your business compliments of Creative Stream.
A few tips from Sherrie as you start building your brand’s ad campaign:
- When placed strategically, video content can gain 5x more views than traditional marketing pieces.
- When you work with an advertising firm, make sure that you can key the message for your audience.
- Once you have identified your brand, cling to it and integrate it into everything that you do.
- Brand is more than just a logo, its about creating a culture strategy.
Thanks Sherrie for being an awesome member of the Utah Valley Chamber Women’s Business Network!
