Our April luncheon is coming up on Thursday, April 16th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For the past few years, we’ve had a fashion show featuring professional dress for our April meeting. This year, we’re going to hear from LaDonna Lockhard, a professional image consultant, who will talk about tips for looking your best on the job. She’ll talk about trends for those who are just starting their careers, as well as ideas for those who are more established. She’ll tell us which basic items we should have in our closets, and which items of clothing best suit our individual circumstances.
We will also be collecting gently used professional clothing and accessories for Turning Point, an organization based at UVU that helps women who are making transitions and re-entering the workforce. So do a little spring cleaning for a good cause! Also, if you’d like some recognition for your business, feel free to bring door prizes to be given away at the end of the meeting. Lunch will be provided by Landmark Catering.
We’ll meet at the Zion’s Bank (180 North University Avenue in Provo) on the 8th floor. Cost of the luncheon is $18 if you register by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13th. After that, the cost goes up to $25. To register, click here.
Many thanks to our sponsors Bennett Events and Habitat for Humanity of Utah County. If you would like to sponsor a future meeting, please contact Juanita Meske at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks also to Zion’s Bank for providing our venue.
