On Friday, September 14, the Women’s Business Network (WBN) hosted the 2nd annual Utah Valley Women’s Business Conference at Utah Valley University. Approximately 200 businesswomen heard from a dozen speakers on topics related to technology and leadership. We appreciate the outpouring of community support and are already planning for next year. Your feedback is an important part of the planning process; it will help ensure the content and speakers are relevant to our needs. If you attended the event, please complete a brief survey by October 1 at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2012UVWBC.
In addition to the broad community support and our remarkable speakers, we also want to thank our sponsors. The key luncheon sponsor was The Barbara Barrington Jones Family Foundation and the event sponsors were Hawkins, Cloward, & Simister; UVU Woodbury School of Business; Utah Valley University; The Daily Herald (click here to check out The Daily Herald’s event coverage!); Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce; and the Utah Valley Convention Center.
