Participants will select from three courses within the technology or leadership tracks (track jumping is allowed!) and hear from keynote speaker Bob Sherwin, COO of Zenger Folkman, on “Effectiveness Matters:  Are women better leaders than men?”  This topic and Zenger Folkman were recently featured in the Harvard Business Review.  For detailed course information, refer to the schedule below.  Course speakers are currently being finalized and the WBN looks forward to releasing those names.

As it was last year, we hope this year’s Conference will be an uplifting, educational event.  We appreciate your help in promoting the Conference to those who might not yet have heard of it (it is only the second year!) by forwarding this blog (or email) to your colleagues, friends, church groups, clubs, or others who you believe might benefit from such courses and networking.

We appreciate the key sponsorship of The Barbara Barrington Jones Family Foundation and event sponsors Hawkins, Cloward, & Simister; UVU Woodbury School of Business; The Daily Herald; and the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce.  Event proceeds will go towards the WBN’s Small Business Development Grant Program.

Should you have any questions about the Conference, email wbn@thechamber.org, or check in with the WBN on Facebook!
