Last week, the WBN posted the benefits and application guidelines for its new Small Business Development Grant Program. We encourage you to circulate the grant blog to women in our community.
We are pleased to report the first grant donation of $500 was provided by the WBN’s Utah Valley Women’s Business Conference keynote speaker, Chris Redgrave, VP of Zion’s Bank and host of KSL’s Speaking on Business. Regarding the WBN and grant program, Redgrave commented, “Through its volunteer service, the Women’s Business Network of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce has demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting businesswomen in Utah Valley. I am fortunate to work for an organization – Zion’s Bank – which, too, is a great supporter of women in business; it is my pleasure to support this new grant program and I encourage women to apply.”
Grant applications will be accepted through November 12, 2011.
