June WBN Luncheon: Being an Entrepreneur of Your Own Career

The June Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Network (WBN) luncheon is 11:30AM on Thursday, June 9th at Ruby River Steakhouse in Provo (1454 South University Avenue; the restaurant is attached to the Provo La Quinta Inn).

The luncheon speaker is Shauna Theobald, Program Director at the Novell Open Source Technology Center, who will be speaking to us on “Being an Entrepreneur of Your Own Career.”  Theobald has expertise in strategic planning, business modeling, entrepreneurship education, financial projections, and team building – each of which provides an exceptional background for the topic of professional growth.

Program Director at the Novell Open Source Technology Center, Theobald works in marketing, recruiting, consulting, strategic planning, and networking, as well as day-to-day management.   She has passion for the entrepreneurial process and its connection to Utah Valley; in fact, she has worked with a number of startups and learned critical patterns for success and failure.   Her professional goal is to you her expertise to help startups incorporate the success patterns into their company “DNA.”   With both a Bachelor’s of Science degree in business administration and a Master’s of Business Administration degree, Theobald’s background provides an ideal blend of education and application.
